  • Terry Wyer - Chief Operating Officer

    Terry's expertise encompasses fund and investment vehicle development (debt, equity, and mezzanine), capital raising, enhancing financial institutional capacity, and facilitating SME lending through diverse channels. As an investment strategist, he prioritizes ESG considerations across real assets and private markets portfolios, emphasizing sectors such as agriculture, health, alternative energy, private equity, and private debt. His impactful work with international financial institutions (IFIs), the EU, and U.S. government-funded projects over the past decade underscores his commitment to developing trade, facilitating investment, and promoting financial sector market development.

  • Geoff Burnand - Founder Director

    Geoff co-founded Investing for Good in 2004 after a career in private and institutional investment management. His experience includes designing donor advisory services at The Institute for Philanthropy and Charities Aid Foundation, as Chief Investment Officer at Charity Bank and as Director of Fund Development at the Social Investment Business. Geoff has advised international programmes on impact investing and been an independent oversight expert on the impact effectiveness of a UK Development Finance Institution. Other roles include Director, UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association, Founder Member of the Guild of Investment Management and a Member of the UK National Advisory Board on Impact Investing.

  • Sandra Schoeber - Senior Consultant

    Sandra is an impact investment professional focused on innovative finance, impact business models, and governance and incentive structures. She has over a decade of investment, research, and operational experience with impact ventures and as the Investment Manager at an impact-focused family office. She has designed and implemented investment and impact strategies, led multi-stakeholder projects, and researched and consulted for initiatives that leverage impact business models. Her experience has been gained over multiple industries and impact areas, including climate adaptation and sustainable agriculture, youth employment, health, education and sustainable fashion.

  • David Ross - Senior Consultant

    David has over 25 years of advisory experience completing successful design, development, implementation, and/or assessment of 12 blended finance investment funds cumulatively valued at over $400 million USD across Sub-Saharan Africa. He has served as a transaction advisor to structure and arrange investments for 14 companies in Eastern and Southern Africa with cumulative transaction values of over $90 million. David served Carnegie Mellon University Africa for 10 years departing as a Distinguished Professor of Practice of IT Entrepreneurship. David has an undergraduate degree in Information Systems Analysis and Design and International Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA in Finance from NYU-Stern School of Business.

  • Leonora Buckland - Senior Consultant

    Dr. Leonora Buckland is an academic-practitioner based at ESADE Business School in Spain, consulting for clients on social entrepreneurship, impact investment, and impact management. She has led several large-scale consulting / research projects, theory of change and impact management trainings and helped impact funds and foundations develop impact management frameworks. She has also worked as a consultant for the Skoll World Forum and developed the content for the social entrepreneurship course at London Business School. She began her career as a strategy consultant for Monitor Company before obtaining a Masters in International Economics from SAIS, Johns Hopkins University (USA) and a PhD in European history from the University of Oxford, U.K.

  • Michael White - Senior Consultant

    Michael is specialised in private equity and private debt funds and innovation in financing for new and emerging sectors, including Partner Planet Ocean Fund as the first fund of funds for marine and ocean investments. Michael has a technical and managerial skill set that includes US investment banking, capital markets and M&A, advising Governments on privatisations in Central Europe, setting up and managing agribusiness and corporate restructuring teams for USAID and as the MD/ Senior Partner of three pioneer PE funds totaling in the EU Accession countries. He has worked with leading DFIs (KfW, EIB, EBRD, SITRA) as investors and sponsors in parallel with established institutional investors.

  • Christophe Foresinetti - Senior Consultant

    Christophe has 18 years of investment and asset management experience in emerging markets, having worked on startup ecosystems building initiatives, due diligences and structuring of debt and equity investments across 3 continents. Until August 2023, he was the Chairman and MD of a listed fund in Thailand. Over the past 10 years, he has founded several companies with mission and today advises and supports other entrepreneurs and investors who want to create positive social and environmental impact.

  • Lisa Pooley - Company Secretary and Regulatory Compliance

    Lisa is a professionally qualified consultant with over 25 years front office experience across risk management and debt capital markets. Her technical expertise, first-hand knowledge of sales processes across a range of client segments, and experience of building and leading teams are key strengths. Lisa is a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

  • Khuram Hussain - Director & Senior Advisor

    Khuram has broad investment across agriculture, health, energy access, mobility, civic tech, and digital connectivity, among other sectors. He started his career providing research coverage on sovereign debt at J.P Morgan’s Emerging Markets research group in New York. Khuram has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and is a CFA Charterholder. Khuram has worked for fifteen years in impact investing and finance. He has a deep understanding of developed and emerging market contexts, startup ecosystems, impact theory of change as well as commercial, ESG and legal diligence and structuring of equity, debt and mezzanine investments.

  • Bogdan Tatarchevskiy - Senior Advisor

    Before joining the team, Bogdan was a Deputy Director at the Soros Economic Development Fund, where he led investment activities of a high-impact focused investment portfolio globally. Prior to SEDF he was a Partner at Developing World Markets where he led and managed a private debt portfolio in 40+ emerging economies. Bogdan’s experience also includes raising capital for FINCA International, a microfinance network, as well as board and advisory positions with InsuResilience Investment Fund, Working Capital Fund, REDI Investment Fund, KIVA Refugee Investment Fund, and Eticas AI.

  • Harrison Byrnes - Consultant

    Harrison has experience cconducting financial analysis and modelling for public and private sector transactions in Europe and Australia. More recently, Harrison has been working directly with an impact-driven tech startup that develops blockchain secured digital tools to remove barriers to digital and financial inclusion for smallholder farmers. Harrison holds duel Bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering and Commerce (Finance) from Monash University.

  • Ed Rowberry (Appointed Representative)

    Ed is the Chief Executive of Bristol & Bath Regional Capital. Ed originally trained as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG. He has over twenty years combined experience in the commercial property, financial services and affordable housing sectors including the management of FCA regulated commercial property funds. As Founding Chief Executive of Bristol and Bath Regional Capital, he has developed the vision for developing place-based financial resources that connect civic, commercial and social interests.

  • Bonnie Chiu (Appointed Representative)

    Bonnie is the Managing Director of The Social Investment Consultancy. She is a Forbes Senior Contributor on gender and diversity, and was recognised as Asia21 Young Leader, a Forbes 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneur, and a winner of the Young Achiever of the Asian Women of Achievement Awards. She serves on the Expert Review Committee of World Benchmarking Alliance’s Gender Benchmark. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Global Business Studies (with First Honours) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Masters in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
